JULY 1ST CANADA DAY CELEBRATION IN BRAMPTON

CANADA DAY CELEBRATION AT THE POWERADE CENTER FREE entrance to the Powerade Center to celebrate Canada Day in Style for an all day event. 10:00 am - 11:00pm. Featured music artist will be Keshia Chanté and Neverest at 7:00 pm as they open for Music Legend Jann Arden who takes over the stage at 8:30pm. Jann Arden is an 8 time Juno Award winner and songwriter of one of my favourites "Insensitive" A spectacular display of fireworks at 10:pm will end the celebration. There will be activities for all ages so be sure to bring the kids. Some activities will have a nominal fee for example the monster truck rides, Unless you have previously purchased a parking permit there is not parking at this event. Brampton transit will be offering a Free Shuttle ever 15-25 minutes directly to the event from 4 locations. Bramalea Terminal • Orion Gate (NE corner of SteelesAvenue and Resolution Road) • Sheridan College • Bramalea GO Station. You can also walk or ride your bike if you are close by. Keep in mind this is an all day event and the following roads in the vicinity will be closed from 10:00 am to midnight to accommodate the pedestrians.
